We recommend eating tomato-based sauces pre-mixed with meats within 3 to 4 days. This includes our chili, spicy Italian sauce, meat sauce, and red clam sauce.

Cream-based sauces should be kept in the fridge for 7 days. The reason for this is that cream-based sauces typically contain ingredients that are better in the cold than tomatoes, such as heavy cream. Our alfredo, Cajun alfredo, pesto cream, white clam, and beer cheese sauces are examples of this.
Best way to store sauce in the fridge?
Sometimes the pasta is already mixed into the sauce, and other times you’ve gotten a great container of beer cheese sauce to-go that you’ll use in a few days to make pasta. In any case, we always recommend storing the sauce in an airtight container. All of the containers in which we serve to-go sauces will keep in the fridge for the time specified above. If you want to extend the shelf life of the sauce by a day or two, place it in an airtight zip-lock bag. We would not recommend going beyond the two-day recommendation unless you are freezing it.
